No expected downtime for most customers - VMs and Kubernetes control planes are unaffected.

Two exceptions may see a few minutes of interruption: single-replica Kubernetes apps (worker nodes are replaced progressively, continuing past the maintenance window) and single-instance managed databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, Redis), restarted once. Replicated setups and apps with a PodDisruptionBudget aren’t affected.
